BST north from 12th street.  Ran my regular route out and back on the high trail to the nature center parking lot on mountian road.  Took the Garmin again as I had never offically clocked this route.  9 miles, 1600 vertical.  Glad I have that one on the books.  I hate running with that computer on my wrist, I find myself constantly racing my virtual self.  Legs heavy at the start, felt better after about 45 minutes, ran my last mile in 7:09.  Feels great to finally be running again, instead of tapering for and recovering from big runs over the last 4 weeks.

Bryce...How far is it past the end of the canal road/trail to the nature center? Indain trail.. That sounds like a fun out-n-back. DO you stretch it out in the little cabin...

Mileage? I dont know, a mile or so, adds some climbing for sure, especially if you run down to the parking lot and back up. The trail gets really fun past the canal road if you haven't been out there, very rocky! Actually my favorite run out that way is go unitl the trail runs out, run xcountry down to the canal road and north till that runs out and back, staying on the upper trail the whole way. No Garmin clock yet, I guess that at 11-12 miles RT. Indian T is sweet! good Squaw Peak training.
